Is it time to explore your internal and external job options? Working together will help you clarify what you want and don’t want in a new role. You will learn to target your best-fit job, industry, work culture, location, salary, and overall lifestyle. We will also explore what you want your next 1 to 3 years to look like from a career perspective.

How it works

We’ll work together in private sessions via Zoom, phone, or at my Hood River, OR, office. Here is a general structure we customize based on your unique needs and timing.

Fully customized programs are available for executives and leaders with special requirements. This can also include coaching/consulting support for leaders transitioning into new roles.

Many clients are ready to move as quickly as possible. Others want to use this precious time to recharge, reflect and redirect. I work with you to set the right pace and milestones for you.

  • Phase 1 – Career Vision: Gain clarity about your desired future role and life. Includes assessments (if applicable) to help identify your preferences and career options. Define roles and companies that are a great fit based on who you are and the impact you want to make at THIS stage in your career.

  • Phase 2—Action Plan: Create an action plan based on where you are now and where you want to go. The plan will target multiple openings in a field of interest. It includes coaching on researching, networking, and applying to openings in different sectors. We also tackle any blocks or mindset issues to keep you on track.

  • Phase 3 – Work the Plan: Take action to have one or more job leads in progress. Learn how to interview and negotiate salary packages, including executive compensation. The program wraps up with advice on how to get off to a great start in your new job, especially in the first 90 days. Graduates of this program are also eligible for ongoing career or leadership coaching support.
